The sky turns gray as it starts to rain,
I kneal in front of your grave and my body fills with pain,
wondering what might of been,
if that night had not been the end.

Imagine in an instant all you have is gone,
I still cry when I hear your favorite song,
I still walk in a way as if you were next to me,
Guiding my steps like I couldn't see,
Our worlds falling apart,
yet you strolled as if a walk in the park.

In my eyes you'll never die,
although in my mind I see you cry,
reaching out for me to hold,
as you made your way to the streets of gold.

Missing you more every single step of the way,
knowing who did this will someday pay,
feeling your eyes still wondering,
it keeps me alive to feel my heart shuddering.

It kills me to know your gone,
the days seem to drag on so long,
but now your in heaven were the angels play,
but I know you'll check on me from day to day.

Letting you go is best for me,
knowing someday again the two of us will be,
now I've stopped counting the minutes in the day,
and you don't seem so far away.

I have relized as in life in death you still guide me everystep of the way,
still you stroll like its a beautiful day,
and I start to think maybe in life you guided me like I was blind because in your heart you knew mine couldn't see,
and even though my heart may still be blind I know your proud as ever of me.

I really liked this poem...it was very deep. If this is true, I am very sorry for your loss. Great write, I hope to see more from you.

This is very powerful. It is sad and beautiful and well written. My only suggestion is to be careful and type "you're" and not "your". Just a minor thing. This certainly pulls at the heart.

Great write

I've never felt a loss so great...I only have sympathy, the poem was very touching I could almost feel the tears...awesome poem.
