The moon dips
Through a black-cherry night
As we oscillate between laughter
And silence
You, fairy, are full of music
Yet unheard
Sound Shape Color
Everything I know
Resides In you
I want to save you
From whatever silences you
And makes you cry
So as we sit
And ponder answers
To questions we can't ask
I can't sleep
And you can't dream
I wish I could say
"Friends forever"
But all I can do is think
"I'll miss you, fairy."
And hope for it to be enough.
