I do not consider myself as a poet.

I am a creature of this hell
In which we call earth.
I learn.
I live.
I love.
I die.
I feel sorrow.
       happiness.
       fear.
Just like any other human being.

But I, myself,
Express these emotions
Through writing.
My pen is my medicine.
          my release.
I let my words wash over me
Then glide them onto paper.
Like a distant memory;
As I write, the emotion passes
And I am again at peace with myself.

I am not a poet; my heart just lives
Within my pen.

Wow that was very good.
you are a poet.
with writing like this you
could touch someon's life.
some times you really don't
realize that what you say can
touch someone so deeply.
