I just wrote this, haven't really thought about it or proof-read cause I'm really not that good at poetry.So maybe you all can help me. Thank You~ "I wish you would listen" I wonder if you hear the music If you hear the words they’re saying their words of the hard life do they affect you I wonder if your vibing from words or feeling the bass pulsate the words in the song were meant to be heard are you hearing them Some rappers rap to instill their sexual fantasy but they also rap for you to listen to their hardships they’ve over come didn’t you hear that song What do I know Your just a Teen-age Boy sheltered and clean wishing you had more Are you listening Do you hear their sorrows their dreams they overcame do you understand what they are saying Or are you oblivious still wishing you had more I wish you would listen because you have so much more |
