You slowly fade as time moves on My feelings left behind The friendship we once shared I have lost, and can not find You’re heart has changed You’re not the same You take for granted That I will always remain How foolish of me to think That I was more then just some chick That I meant something to you Oh how you contradict You said that I was special, Truly awesome and great You said you’d never lose me Well it might just be too late You my friend need to see I won’t put up with this sh*t If you want my love and devotion You must cherish it I am not some girl You can only talk to at will My life is moving forward As I watch you standing still You wait for opportunity To come knocking at your door I won’t be that other friend I will wait for you no more You slowly fade as time moves on My feelings left behind The friendship we once shared I have lost, and can not find **Tell me what ya really think..I can handle it** Thanks, Jenn **Hope is what Shields us from the harsh realities of life** [This message has been edited by Albino_Jenn (03-15-2003 04:26 PM).] |

That was a great poem, I can relate to it so much...guys just dont realize what they've truly lost until its gone, but they expect us to wait around until then... |
