As a young man coming into my own my perceptions in life have been worn and tattered along this journey to becoming grown All my life i was taught from my decisions in life my fate would be wrought I spoke what I thought and what I believed in for that I fought Now Im here, tried for a crime I didnt commit they wont believe I didnt do it It hid the truth from my eyes the black and white in which I viewed the world hid the world of chaos, hatred, and lies A loud crash resounded through my home the veil of clarity shattered leaving me bruised, battered, and alone In the recesses of my mind a voice screams, "its about time" all my life I have been color blind ======================================================================================================== P.S: If i dont respond to questions whatever... its because I'll be in county jail for a while.. I'll get to it when I can. thanks. |

That's so sad, very emotional and well written poem. As teen I think we are all unfairly blamed for the things we didn't do, unfortunately they made a real mistake with you that cost you your freedom. Good luck. ![]() ~*~Karen~*~ |
