Have you forgotten What we used to share The good times we had together How much we used to care? You have reserved a place deep within my heart Where I'll never forget you It was there from the start. I got to know you very well With the two years we had together Then we began to break apart I was blown like a feather. You went on to be The most popular guy in school I began to lose you I must just be too shy. Finally our paths cross again I really don't expect that much I mean what do you need me for I'm like an old speck of dust. I've lived my life without you Hoping we would meet again Finally we are reunited But I'm still just blowing in the wind. Do you remember The times we used to share The times we spent together The times when we were there to care? ~*~Karen~*~ |

Wonderful poem, I don't think I've read any of your poems before. That means a welcome is in order. so... Welcome to pip!!! Judging from this poem, it's great to have you here. I can relate to it well, I really like the line, "But Im still just blowing in the wind." Wonderful, Excellent! WinterWren |

Thank you for your welcome, that was my sixth poem posted so there haven't been many opportunities to read my poems. I enjoy reading your poems they all seem so touching. Thanks for your reply ~*~Karen~*~ |

this is soo good. i feel the same way about someone, he was my first love and now he's gone on to bigger and better things...leaving me in the dust wondering where I went wrong...sigh...good write anyway. Jenn think about this: everyone you know will someday die. |
