I used to see a light now gone black,
I used to see an endless road that now leads back,
The journey of life was a never-ending adventure,
Without the happy ending.
This is the last time I ever give my heart away
To be broken and left to decay

I wished that a better day would come
And that somewhere in this struggle
Would be something worth the effort
So take my heart and twist it for your pleasure,
I have no use for it anymore,
My life will never have the happiness I once fought for,
I’ll always be your sad, pathetic little whore

I tried to make your strong,
I fought for you and for what you believe
You left me alone in a darkened room,
To shake and to cry,
I can do nothing but wonder why,
I loved you and I thought you loved me to
Now that you’re gone and I’m alone again, I don’t know what I’ll do

Maybe a life without you is no life at all,
I thought I’d never have to know,
What it’s like to see everything you once cared for,
Wrapped up in a blanket and thrown out the window
I’m lost and lonely just like before,
Maybe someday I’ll see you again,
Here’s to hoping I’m dead by then.

(tears fall down my cheeks) My heart goes out to you, dearest friend, I know this kind of mental abuse and torment and I hope soon you can heal from it all and stand up again with the whole memory obsolete! It's not exactly about losing someone in the "we broke up" sense. More to do with the fact that right now my true love is gone...and I dont know where. Or if she's alive. Heh. I won't get into that right now.

This poem definetly gets my vote!
I love it, especially the first stanza.
Woah, Im going through the exact same thing with a guy, I don't know where he is or if he's alright or anything!
