I dont get it... With 5 of the best healers in the world at my side, I still find pain. With tons of people around me, I still get lonely till the point where i feel insane. I remember being little and longing to feel mature, I'd poor milk in a wine glass just to feel older. Now that im older i long for the days, When i was a small toddler. Maybe its because of what i need to do, 6 pills to make me function throughout my day. Without them im basically out of commission, And cant walk or talk or feel anything remotely close to ok. So i sit here looking at you... You wanna fix me do you? 2 years of my life i've wasted every thursday on your couch, You'd think by now you'd know theres not a thing you can do. Go ahead and ask...i dare you. Ask me if im ok today. I'll roll my eyes like always. I'll say "im fine" and wish you'd go away. What i wanna say to you is that i hate the night, How i dont sleep anymore. My safe haven..my dark little playground that once was, Has vanished and is no longer there beyond my bedroom doors. So now what am i suppose to do, When i cry out in misery or feel so lonely i could die? Where do i run to, Is there such a place where i was so happy i wouldnt know how to cry? Hm...Figures, you dont know it all like you think you do. I'll leave you and find peace in my own way, If i can ever find a day thats worth getting through. Standing on the edge of the world |

WOW Shugar! I think that this is one of the best poems I have read by you. Its a different style though to your usual. Im glad I got the chance to read it. ~if you want something very badly set it free, if it comes back to you its yours forever, if it doesnt it was never yours to begin with~ |

Michele I just don't know what to say to this....but I'm glad you are able to write about it, even if it is just a small release to you. --Elizabeth You can sit there and forgive someone until the cows come home, and it won't make a bit of difference until they forgive themselves. |

*looks around* Oh, dear. LoL. Hi, Shugah. A very potent piece here. It almost seemed more prose then poetry to me, with the story you were telling. I'd like to email you sometime. I think we could have a good time talking. ~Titus "On the plains of Hesitation lie the blackend bones of countless millions, who, at the verge of victory, sat down to wait, and waiting - died." |
