*this was formed after advice i gave to a buddy* Life is like: A large parade You only get paid 50 cents an hour For six hours you walk Behind, an elephant Now all you do is shovel The elephant droppings into a barrel you can't run away you can't get over or under it The elephant is so fat you can't see to the sides All you do is shovel The smell and taste burn your nose and mouth Thats what life is like it gives you a big problem and all you can do is clean up after it " I think I got a tan from the light in which i was basking." |

Newsboys has a song that mentions scooping elephant dung... Interesting. Interesting analogy here, Malloree... I like it though. Makes you think, kinda... Your 'elephant' could be different things, depending on what's goin on in your life. Thanks for sharing! - Cody - |

If you like Newsboys, you should listen to some of the old stuff by Jars Of Clay. That stuff was poetry. "I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation." |

This was definitely a different poem. But oh so true! Well done! WinterWren |
