Raver's Ecstacy

You sneak out,
From your bedroom window.
Your ride's here...
Just on time.
You climb on into the car;
Quickly checking yourself over.
Is there anything you forgot?

You get there,
And bound through the doors.
And there it is...
The party.

The DJ spins the magical disks,
locking the beats.
A smile smears onto your face;
This is your home.

Soon you lose your friends amidst the crowd.
But no matter; you love dancing.
You find yourself ameshed,
In the chaotic harmony of music.
Don't move your body,
That's what the music is for.
And the DJ is your master.

Thanks dude! Really, this is the rekindling of a scene which I once left. The dance-raver scene...my home! This is going to be an ongoing series...so stand-by, as we hit hour four. Hardcore; you know the score!

I have to say that this is really not my scene but throught your writing I feel that I have some insight into it, thank you for the most enjoyable read, I'll be watching out for the rest of the series.

I feel this was missing something, Alex. It wasn't really a great depiction of a rave. You left out the entire drug scene for starters. Oh, and you should be there for the music, deary.

Uh... I can't say that I loved it... but it was all right. It didn't seem to be too... I don't know thought through? Looks kind of like you described a rave and threw it on paper, minus a lot of other aspects that weren't just your love for dancing... which is fine except you kind of did just didn't go through with it... I don't know, I'm not usually one for this kind of stuff but hey whatever floats your boat.

You know I liked this one. Reading the responses made me think that your series will have a LOT to live up to. But I know you're a crowd pleaser, so I'm looking forward to the next installment.
