I thought of this walking to school this morning... It's a song, and it's not very good right now. Any ideas on how I could make it better would be greatly appreciated. I just kinda had the idea and in English I decided that I needed to get the ideas written down. Thanks! I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO John Walker was an outdoors man He had a daughter, son And a love for guns Every fall he would clean his guns Have them packed up and in the truck Take his dog and his boy And kiss the girls goodbye Then one day His wife asked Chorus: John, why do you always have to take the boy? Why don't you take the girl this time? And he said One... I dont think she can shoot a gun Two... I just wouldn't know what to do But he took his girl And walked straight through As he hung his head And little was said As they sat there in the tree stand And the buck slowly approached He handed her the shotgun And told her when to shoot Chorus As they pulled into the driveway A smile upon his face His wife looked kind of puzzled When he told her "That girl sure can shoot" Chorus - Cody - |

This is very sweet, in a country-ish kind of way. I really enjoyed this. Good job. Parasite Learn to place poetry before people |
