Your kiss was so soft,
Your hand I always wanted to hold,
You would keep me warm when it was cold-
Your touch was so gentle,
and your smile lit up your eyes,
But now your so hard to even reconize-
To many things went wrong and too many lies,
I'll take with me the good times and the smiles,
I"ll remember, that for a little it was all worth while.
When I think back to you I'll remember Those eyes
and how they would always hypmotize
Your smile dried my tears,
and wiped away all my fears.
But now its different
I dont no u and u dont no me
somethings are just not meant to be..

People change, for better or for worse. This poem is so true that I don't know what to say, because I'm changing too. I'm afraid that some people don't recognize me either. This hit hard, almost too hard, because I know how it feels on both sides of the fence...Sorry, I can't go on. Good write...

Aw... this is so sad. I just went through this.

Im glad u liked the poem .. and yes things are much better for me now i have a boyfriend but i still think about the lost love that i will always have....thanks for all the responses..

I loved the poem. I mean that. This, for me, is high praise indeed. I recall refering to Shakespeare's Sonnets as the "delusional posturings of a really soppy moron".
