Dawn When arrives the morning hour Dawn ascending o’er the land Capturing all within its power Respect from all it will command. Soft light coming over the earth Touching all with golden hues Showing all what beauty’s worth Offering peace none can refuse. Early morning mist now rising Shadows giving way to light Such a morn is so enticing Farewell to the quiet night. |

I have always had great difficulty writing poems that aren't "depressing" but this one wasn't too hard. Enchantress- Thank you! That means a lot to me that you liked my poem so much. Noah- You are so kind. Thank you. |

Ah! We're kindred spirits for sure. I absolutely love this poem. My very first poem posted here at PIP was "The Twilight Hour" (currently on page 16 if you're interested). I just love your poem. I've read it three times now. I especially love these two lines: "Early morning mist now rising Shadows giving way to light." Pure magic! Linda |

Thank you Earth Angel. I read your poem and liked it very much, especially the line that says "with every stroke of God's paintbrush I witness". |
