In the still of the night, Or so they say, The city springs to life, From it's restful day. A great mythic beast, It breathes, tensing its muscles, Stalking, feeding it's appetites, In the dim smokey alleys, On youthfull rebellion and scheming parasites. Towering skyscrapers bear silent witness, As countless fragile little souls, Mingle and separate, Falling together and falling apart. Somehow, They all experience the delight and lonliness, Hope and despair, Believing That no other living soul, Can understand how they feel. I know what i feel.. I feel the darkness, Seductively slithering around me, Embracing my existance, Moving through me, It is an extension of my soul, And I of it. I am home... Even in this house.. At night, I am home. In the sanctuary of the unlit, I am nurtured. In my cloak of darkness and solitude, I find solace. Between the shadows, I find myself. |

Powerful words and images here. So often these images invoke discomfort, eerieness. Amazing that you find such peace and solace in them. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Gabriel, I understand this so well as I too have contemplated to myself in stillness! (sigh) I feel it is the best way to get to know ourselves better, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gabriel, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
