We're all made from the same fabric And we are of the human race I can be the color of my choosing Just by painting my face We all bleed the same color 'tho so many have lost sight They are blinded by their ignorance Always dividing black and white * * * * I wrote this as a challenge poem from another site I submit to. It showed a picture of two people with half their face painted black and half white. We were asked to write about what we saw. I am in motion |

![]() ![]() ![]() (sigh) Oh Sue, this is so very true, oh my gosh, I know this place you speak of, Mutington's Meadow. I used to post there as a matter of fact, the decorations and atmosphere is lovely there! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, you speak of such truth I wish everyone could understand, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! ![]() May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Good job with this, Sue. Seems like the world would be so much better off, if everyone would remember this. Sandra |

This is an excellent excellent poem, Sue... It is so interesting that mankind is evolving in such a way that within the next couple of generations, there will probably not be many racially pure people left...of any of the races... It is already difficult to distinguish many of them. I have often been asked, (especially when I have sun tan) what race I am. I think that next time it happens...I will make up a crazy answer...I will say... "can't you tell, I'm a chipmunk" or a better answer would be to just say "human" ![]() Lyra |

I feel that we of us that have been blessed with being a majority....don't understand these feelings nearly as well as those that are in the supposed minority..... Even women, without regard for color are discriminated against... People feel discrimination because of the color of their eyes... So many things that people use to "grade" others by.... Sad, but very true and real... Thanx for this Sue T./ |

Hi Sue, I was saving this to write about, but I believe it now belongs to you. Well done! ![]() The most valuable thing you own is a smile, wear it, and share it. |

Thank you all so much for your comments. I can only hope that future generations can see the light and improve things from our disgraceful and shameful past. Sharon, thank you for the picture which is the exact one I wrote this from. Take care......Sue I am in motion |

Hi Sue - I'm so impressed with what you have written here and I know both of us write alot about social issues. I am not convinced that the next generation is any more tolerant - sadly. The picture is wonderful. Hugs, Marti |

i would love to say that nowadays racial tensions have subsided.. as far as people in my generation in this country go, most of us seem to respect each other's differences.. sadly enough, there are still some vestiges of intolerance and racism in some areas of our country. And the rest of the world?? Forget it!!I see that humanity as a whole still has a LONG way to go before we can all safely say that racism is over with. In time these scars of stupidity will heal. Life is a lonely journey to, and a heavy-hearted departure from three words. I LOVE YOU |
