Entering my life as a breath
of fresh air,
your love washed over me
cleansing my soul,
lifting me beyond the stars
into the greatest depths of
heaven.

Time stood still when I
was with you,
feeling so safe and secure
within your arms,
I knew I could trust you
with my life.

You tempted me with desire
setting my soul on fire,
Never had I felt this way
about anyone, as I had for
you.

What we had was special,
so beautiful...
Never did I know a man
could be so gentle and
loving, accepting me
for face value.

Emitting such joy and
happiness into my life,
not only as my lover,
but most importantly...
As my friend.

Thanks for reading my poem! What hurts the most is I have lost a very close friend who will always be very special to me. I will always cherish the memories of him forever always holding a special place in my heart for him.
