To a street in conjunction with my mind my mood - or matter and it is always a street I’ll have you know that holds the knuckle that holds the hinge-hinge of my existence in concrete sidewalks. It is always some abandoned previously trampled critically weathered street that runs parallel that runs rampant through the thick pad skin of my feet passing my tailbone navigating my warping spine into this heavy pressing head of mine and somehow this feeds somehow this corners and questions all I’ve been taught about babies and men about histories and tomorrows somehow it questions the universe in rewind. We can call this one Birth we can call this one the truth or perhaps we can call it a wheel and it is always a matter of degrees a matter of sources so I horde the examples the definitions then line them skillfully in the pockets of my skin and I am wet gray for reasons reasons only a dying street would understand. |

The street of life that we all live on, yet never seem to have an address to. Thank you. What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |

Tread lightly on that hardened path, no dead end. Unfurl the fist, raise a head that knows that this will pass as will the season we both Love and loathe. |

"passing my tailbone navigating my warping spine into this heavy pressing head of mine and somehow this feeds somehow this corners and questions all I’ve been taught" Vivid imagery, Alicia. I felt your traveling thoughts, all the way up and down my spine. |

This is really deep - I've read it three times now, and I'm still gleaning things from it. |

Alicia, How wonderful. Left me breathless as I read line after line after line... thinking, thinking, thinking...and, I am still thinking... It's very good. Warmly, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

I read this several times, was able to interpret in a different way each time. And yeah, the imagery is very affective. |
