 I Will Shed You Feathers They say those that have crossed over leave a little way to give a keepsake of themselves each and every day to those that will really listen, who suffer, feel and hear hearken closely to my plan, what I shall do for you, my dear… I shall for you shed feathers, daily, one by one in the darkness of the night to be seen in daylight’s sun I shall leave them all around, and when you’re very blue you shall see, there lies a feather, and know I’ve thought of you. I shall loose for you a feather, and recollect will spark when you pick up chestnut feathers of the lovely lark hear then there the trills and notes of its favored song and not miss me for a moment, but instead, just sing along. I shall shower down a feather, before your feet shall lay a reminder that I was here to start your every day. Angels all around me, shall shed their feathers free just so that you might know that you are here with me. So when you see a feather lightly settle down by you validate my love, my dear, know that here’s a clue I shall stroll beside you, and find you in your nights When you see shed feathers, let them be your guiding flight. ©Karilea Rilling Jungel 15 August 2000 revised 8 October 2002 |

Well this is sure a lovely idea, but I know if my angel left me feathers, it would be a reminder to "get inside and dust my house" (and dang I have a time out again Karilea so can't leave you a smilie either lol) - I give up! Isn't it fun to write on pictures? |
