Silver Blue Whispers

Silver blue whispers beckoning passions dance
Laced in copper swirls of spirit adorned caress
Spring blossom smiles cascade in gentle trance
Quenching my hearts desire with loving finesse

Drapes of freckled embrace render healing bliss
Warming this heart within your silken entwine
Palm to palm unite carries breeze of spirit kiss
Resting in tranquil gazes ... as two souls align

Sapphire passages traced in emerald fixed daze
Reveal corridors of harmony in romantic array
Crystal lyrics reflected within prisms of amaze
Recline in comfort against our songs of today

Each sunrise cleansed in kiss of morning dew
Purified in awakened stretch of blooming rose
Golden blessings cradle all my thoughts of you
Inspired by this tenderness your heart bestows

Mark Christopher

I thought I'd jump in here before the line formed...

and yes, shaman poet sir, you do weave magick within your lines...and making it look easy and flow so fluidly is a sign of artistry---and someday, I will learn how to write this delicately and leave an impact. Once again you hit me over the head with a cottonball bat.

Mark,
This is so lovely.
My heart heard music in your
words.
They started out
in a soft whisper and
developed into a much louder
voice.
I really hope to
hear more of your "music".
Thanks so much for
sharing.

Of course I had to get in line with the rest to tell you how wonderfully gorgeous this is. It's difficult for me to choose a favorite, but this one especially touched me today.

Well silver blue is my favorite color actually and I prefer whispering to reading out loud, and as I whispered this poem, trust me this is the first time in years I wish someone was whispering it to me, (but then I snapped back to reality). However, I have to say I loved the flow, the cadence, and of course, the perfection of this beautiful piece.  Thank you Mark.

Sunshine-thank u for the invite

Enchantress-Thank you so much for those words and I do miss being here as well.

Marti-Then I must make sure my titles always grab you.  Thank you dearly

Ethel- Those are some mighty generous words and I thank you much for that.

Noah-One cannot help but smile when they are graced with your wonderful replies and I thank you very much kind sir.

the_loner_23- Thank you dearly for the beautiful

Sy- It is nice to be missed now and then and I do thank you for your always kind words.  As for the JM thing.......would not have had it any other way ..... nope not all.

Earth Angel-It please me that you are listening and I thank you for your wonderful comments.

Midnitesun-Thank you much.

Interloper-Well thank you and I will see what I can do about the introduction lol.

Marge-Isn't that what leads us halfway home anyway?  Thank you dearly my friend.

Donna- For you to say that means the world to me and I do hope you know that.  Thank you so very much and God Bless.

Brian-Well thank you kind sir and it is always my thrill to receive a comment from a poet of your caliber.

Cher-Well hello my friend and thank you so much for your kind words.  It is a blessing to have you here as well and never doubt that.

JM-Now are you sure you want to talk about cookies in public with me? ( don't worry, i won't mention the crumbs i found after you left but I do have one question.  What on earth were all the sand crabs doing in your pillow cases?

Thank you so very much my dearest and bestest friend.  You know I love you dearly and somehow the tide just doesn't seem to have as much punch to it since yo left but we will make it work.

Mysteria-Don't ya just hate it when we have to snap back to reality? Thank you so much for your kindness

VAS-It is always a treat for me to be able to come in and I thank you for your kinds words.
