Working Late

Pouring his words down my throat,
his fingers touch not what he sees
I'm dragged upwards and outwards
By his jewel colored persuasion
And promised pleasantries…
He, a modern day Merlin
A magician with silken scarves
of my secret fantasies…
I gaze out of cold windows
at an apple tree in shadow
stifled by still air
No shivering branches tonight
But….
I tremble inside….

Thanks so much to all..
Many women are in this prediciment of the boss putting sexual pressure on them and their fear of not getting ahead or keeping their job...it still happens...I appreciate the read and commenting

What is facinating is that with a title change, this poem could accomdate many scenarios... now, that is talent.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Cheryl, this is so very sad to see indeed, that someone is working so hard and doing all one cans for the sake of oneself and loved ones everyone deserves to be respected and that kind of pressure shouldn't be tolerated! (sigh) This is wonderfully expressed, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Cheryl, thank you for sharing!
