Oh Saraswati,
Guide us to
Our Shantiniketan,
For we are lost and cannot find
The pathway
Through the choking
Forest of Hate
That engulfs this world.
We know that Love must be
The right pathway,
But we often see more
Hate than Love
Sowing seeds
On fertile ground.
Oh Saraswati,
We beg of you to
Shine your light
Onto this river of Life
That rushes inside
Our warring minds,
That we may all find
An open stream,
A clear pathway
To Peace.
***********

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE

One I got around trying to pronounce the words I enjoyed your piece, as usual

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Sorry for tying up your tongue.
Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge and of the arts, and shantiniketan means abode or house of peace.
