Time Keeps Ticking Away

We are in different timzones
Will our timing ever be right
Shall I wish you  good day
Good morning or goodnight

The minutes are ticking over
Do you gaze your clock too
When will the time be right
To reveal I’m  missing you

As time keeps ticking away
Upon my clock on the wall
Still find time to remember
The fond memories I recall

Watching the  hours go by
Although this hour is late
Anxiously beats my heart
In hoping to communicate

My clock shows midnight
Here upon my nightstand
I keep you in my thoughts
In dreams in which to land
