Ode To The Dawn Did you see the sun rise this morn? Rising in glory a new day was born. The night eased away with the coming dawn, in a magical moment the night was gone. As the orange orb greeted the sky I beheld the wonderment with my eyes. A soft blanket of light covered the earth. I had witnessed the dawn at its birth. Then Mother Nature on timely cue painted the skies in brilliant hues. Colors melded together on canvas of light a breathtaking view was held in sight. Did you take a moment to stop and see the grande awakening of life to be? (c)dmsmith 10-03-02 If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream... Beautiful Donna. I was looking this morning, but we've got a real overcast, ominous looking sky this day. Have a good day, hugs, Marti |

This is so pretty. You are an artist painting with words. Just beautiful. It is grey here, so this makes my day! without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |

Donna Yes, I saw it creep across the floor from the door into the garden. You have written it so beautifully! |

I did, yes, but not like this. Thank you. What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |

Donna, this is so beautiful. As I was reading this, I could almost see the sun rising ....even though it's almost time for the sunset. The picture is pretty, too. Thanks. Ethel |

Geez, I've been that busy that I just now realized I haven't been back to this write to thank you all. You all have left such wonderful comments and I wish I had the time to reply to each in turn but time is limited today so I will just tell you all how much you are appreciated and send a hug. Peace to poetry land. Sincerely, Donna If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream... |
