Short of Heavenly Perfection

Girl you shouldn't even start
playing with my heart.
That's a road that leads to a
place called tearing us apart.
Many have gone there and
few come back intact.
I don't want to go there
so please cut me some slack.
No one on this earth is perfect
when compared to heavenly perfection.
I'm sorry if I'm failing to live up
to your level of high expectations.
