We had a Prince and now he's gone
Gone to the other side
Tonight he did, we didn't know
He made that appointment
all by himself
Although is wife was there
and his sons
Together in family bond
But he stepped out
Quietly
He was a good man
Best Prince we've ever had
People loved him
Despite his German descent
I didn't care at all
But some old folks did, back then
He won them all, their hearts that is
Because he had this soft smile
wich melted your heart
and this funny talk
wich made you smile
He had humor too
So I thought
I'd just let ya all know
That he died tonight
Our Prince

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Titia, Hugs to you.  So sincere of a write.

If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream...

We know very well, Titia, what it is like to lose a leader, and we end up forgiving them of so much...I am of German descent, yet I never understood so much of the history...something I'm going to do when I am retired...which will be a long, long time from now...

Thank you for sharing this...my prayers are with your country...

Titia, you have such a way of injecting true humanity into your work. I like the man just by your words and your obvious kind feelings toward him. I'm sorry for your country's loss.....
