Small hands, perfectly tapered at the end of each finger. Beautiful white nails contrasting against her dark skin, like coffee with cream stirred in. They are kind hands, gentle hands. Soft and comforting. They wipe away my tears, and take my hand, plain in comparison. They hold my head, framing my face and stroke my hair, and as they wipe the tears from my eyes, they wipe away my sorrows, and I sink into dreams knowing I am loved - her hands tell me so. I need to change my signature. :D |

Kielo, A wonderful picture painted in these words. Well done. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Hi, Kielo. I agree with Larry....I could almost see those hands that you described so well. Good work. Thanks. Ethel..garysgirl |

Kielo, you note that you need to change your signature, and that may be...but please, do not change your style of writing...this was a very pleasant read. Thank you! |

Kielo - This is a lovely, gentle poem. I am putting it directly into my library. Enjoyed this....thinking of my own mother's delicate, small hands, with a tear in my eye. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

beautiful white nails contrasting against her dark skin like coffee with cream stirred in ============================================= and as they wipe the tears from my eyes, they wipe away my sorrows, and I sink into dreams knowing I am loved - her hands tell me so. ============================================= The first part I quoted is my favorite part. The way it's written is very endearing. It's touching, I love it. The last part is wonderful, as well. It highlights the most beautiful of moments. The moments where no words dare be spoke, yet oh so much is said. Killer. There's no better word for it. Thanx for sharing. ~Krissie "No one has ever loved ~anyone~ the way ~everyone~ wants to be loved" |
