Travel Plans By Larry Chadwick An invitation from my father just last year. In that day yet to come, When we finally reunite; My loss will be avenged, And I will be alright. For that promise we have made, To meet at heaven’s farthest shore; I am making all my plans, For when we’ll meet once more. It’s a comfort to live with hope, That eternity will be ours. And then we’ll take that trip, To see the farthest stars. But until that time when we will meet, I’ll be faithful to our past. Living day to day as I ought, ‘Til the time we’ll meet at last. October 4, 2002 I love you papa. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. Larry~ You take the past tense and apply it to the present, like a gift tied in ribbons and bows!!! Thank you for giving so much back~~~ |

Larry, you have such a sweet loving nature and you have suffered so many losses, but these losses, as you know, are only temporary. You write of these losses like no other. They are sweet and endearing like you are. ~ I hope that you will have a deep and peaceful sleep tonight ~ Linda |

Kacy, My papa and I had this conversation. It is a wonderful memory and delightful hope. Ethel, I am unsure of the quality of the writing. But certain of what is in my heart. Thank you for such kind words and gentle understanding. Kielo, Yup, indeed. It'll happen and I can hardly wait. Thanks. Lori, Well, I didn't know. But it sure is fun to find out! Thanks, always. Linda, Truly I am blessed by your kindness. And I hope you're right about the rest. Think I'll go find out. *smiles* If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, yes, always cherish those special moments of the past and hold them true to your heart, and someday when the time is right you will re-unite with your Ginger and your father and all your loved ones and evermore you'll always be with them as they are always guiding you! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Larry..I had to overcome my tears before I could type again.. this poem just oozes the emotions concerning your Dad, and I share those sentiments concerning my Dad. I shall be keeping this wonderful Tribute to your Dad as it says what I feel about mine... thanks so much, Cher Poetry is: |

Sue, Please know I am fine and all is well. Thank you always for your concern. Noah, Someday... Thanks. Kellie, Sorry...but this is a trip after arrival at heaven. Thanks dear. Cher, I'm sorry for your loss of your dad. But I am so pleased you liked this poem. It's nice to know we share this dream. Thanks. Aw Lauren, You are so kind to me. Hope our schedules gel soon! If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
