I like how you hold, your love is so bold, while I fly apart, you sew up my heart. I like how you reach, through my fog to teach, don't touch me written, grief, I am smitten. I like how you try, while I search for why, to connect my dots, undone, I forgot. I like how you know, there is a raibow, while I feel so down, don't send in a clown. I like how you care, such love do you share, I can't give a thing, this pain reverbing. I like how you wait, patience of a saint, while I'm in anguish, and I languish. I like -how you love me- without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |

This is a lovely poem and I enjoyed the read Regards2you, Just want to say I sent you an email but it did not go through. What it said was I was sorry you misinterpret What I said. I call all my poet friends’ butterflies and their poems flowers. Sipping nectar is what you do when you read them. Forgive me I meant no offence. |

Seymour, how gracious you are. Maybe, it was one of those letters written which should never be sent. Since you meant no offense, I too apologize. Your poems are a blessing and a joy. They challenge me to try new things. The poem above is just that. It is not my style, but being this is only the 2nd poem I've written in 20 years!- I am going to keep trying different things and never again stop writing. Thank you for the review, I appreciate you so. After having read "Would You" I did feel like a butterfly for a moment in time. What a wonderful release you offered all of us. Thank you for your imagination and grace. without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |

Thank you for the welcome, Auguste and the nice review. Glad you took the time. You too, besides Seymour, inspire me. I loved: "I'll Raise The Sails" and I always look for your poems. without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |

Scorpio, Thanks for the critique; that is what I really need to know; sometimes I can be so wrapped up in a poem I write it is hard to look at it objectively. Normally, I write non-rhyming poems, but, I am trying new ways of writing. I appreciate your comments. Thank you without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |

Ethel, thanks for your comments; for whatever it is worth, I am happily single and in no emotional pain. I just write about it and wouldn't it be nice to have someone so loving..... tut-tut...guess you know abt. that kinda love. How happy I am for you. Thanks re: the love vs. pain comment. I also am striving to eliminate many words in my writing; real challenge again, thanks without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |
