The Cries By Matt A baby is born That constantly cries For it sees Where it lives And where it'll die It lives in a place That worships money Where the rich feast And the poor go hungry It lives in a place Where the guns scream Where the bullets turn red In the bloody stream ANd lives fall To the power of them all It lives in a place Where people die And the world No longer cries It lives in a place On the blink of destruction By the fools that dominant it's divided cells While concentrating on seduction So next time you hear a baby's cry Try to imagine what it may need In a world that's falling to its knees Executed by our human greed "They do not love that do not show their love.”-Shakespeare |

Understood so well the thoughts here...the truth is that born within each of us is the instinct to survive. The world is a hard place for one so innocent...the little things will mean more if we concentrate together to improve our lives. Good write. ThisDiamond |
