Sometimes

Sometimes
I no longer think about you
what we had together
love so true.

Sometimes
I hear those echoes growing fainter
the sound of your voice
and distant laughter.

Sometimes
I no longer reach out in slumber
for the feel of you in my arms
caresses so tender

Sometimes
I no longer remember your face
drowning in your eyes
as fingers trace

Sometimes
no longer do these memories remain
then only in these sometimes
does my heart feel no pain

Thank you everyone for your welcomes and nice words.
This is an old poem and I'm long over the time that inspired it.
I will post more soon, but only after having read and replied to others.
