Poet's Meet

Oh what a time all of us had
No thoughts of sorrow or things gone bad
Each person brought such delight
It bubbled through us far into night
We talked, we laughed, recited our hearts
Swore friendship's love would n'er depart
Underneath Florida's sunny skies
Our words soar on the wings of sighs

Marsha, this is lovely! It seems a new tradition was spawned at the Meet, and all of the poets will benefit from it! I only wish I could have been there! Perhaps...Michigan!

It really warms my heart that you all had such a wonderful time and got to know one another. I hope we can keep these meetings going in whatever venue is available to us at the time, as it will only strengthen the bonds of this "poetic family".
