You Were on My Mind By Larry Chadwick If my thoughts could transport me, I’d come and be with you tonight. For poverty has grounded me, And forces me to give up flight. But if my thoughts could transport me, We would have a lot of time to share. For you’re on my mind and in my heart, That’s as close as I can get to being there. How my thoughts transport me, When I think about you. I fly away from where I am, At just the thought of you. October 3, 2002 If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Hello Larry Your words were so very heartfelt and I could relate so well to how you must have been feeling when you wrote it. This is a favourite quote of mine that I'd like to share and it most certainly applies to you : Some people come into our lives and quickly go...... Some people stay for a while and leave their footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same Take care my friend Love Sue I am in motion |

With your "thought", your "mind" and your "heart", you can be "transported" whenever and wherever, you desire to be. You have that ability dear poet! EA |

Larry, I love the words you put down again. Your love was a lucky woman to have had such strong love from you. Yes, true love does always stay in your heart, even when we are apart. Thanks for sharing your feelings. With love from Ethel.....garysgirl |
