Shhh. Ti ti ti. Now flow. (keep heart's warmth) Flow. (warm blood's calm) Flow. Ripple, slow wind. Whisper, long rain. Build the tempest slow, step by step, purple notes. Trill among the clouds; arpeggio now tumble down. Soft gray stones in growing eyes, stripping hands of thunder. Oh, stretch the rumble down, bring it through the dark bass clouds. Swell on through the rain (top hand) and clap them both to lightning's end. Petal break; sharpen chords; Hands in rove; Stuttered stoke. Stretch the rumble out to smoke. Ringing dissonance. Now bring a broken melody. Break the clouds in poetry. Slow the strength. fingers' seat. Slow the strength. Soften length. Trees across the plain. Etch their ache within sustain. Grasses blowing, softly there. Lift descent. Flow her there. (Re... re... re...) Now flow. (calm blood's heat) Flow. (heat sure breath) Flow. (breath's own pace) Shhh. |

I have always heard Winter Rain in d-flat. Just goes to show you that music is never heard the same way. Thank you. What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |

Hmm, I thought it was in D-flat, but then realized I had a 45 RPM set at 33 1/3. Thanks, M.R. |

I'm glad you enjoyed this, Butterfly Slippers! I just wanted to mess around with stresses and meter, and, frankly, wish I had a piano at the office. |

SEA, Thank you. Send the rain this way! Ron, Ah, perhaps my poem helped inspire your Showered in Silent Words? If not, I will pretend it did anyway, and feel honored that my words could inspire yours, or, at the very least, fire your mind a bit. Sun, oh, I definitely intend to read this aloud. And thanks for the well wishes and congratulations! |

Martie, thank you. I worked on this one a bit to get the rhythm (and the melody) into the words as best I could... Nancy, thank you for your kind words and your congratulations. I love you, babygrrl. Glad y' enjoyed. *kiss* Thanks, Sammie. The hush before the storm? I'm glad you enjoyed this, Bekki. It would make even better performance poetry if I had a piano with it. |

Zen, you understand musicians well. Hmm, I sometimes wondered why I always called you Sen instead of Ser. (at least I don't do Se'n anymore) |

(smiles) This is beautiful, sweet friend, I love to walk out in the freezing rain (as long as it is not hailing of course) as it is so comforting and I feel great tranquility doing so! (big hugggsssss) This is wonderfully composed, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
