Waiting time

Waiting for the time
that you will accept
what I can not change
hoping that you will
not change either

Set into our ways
with the never ending
means to our hearts
walls bound tightly

Events of the past
never fogotten, forgiven
resentment for all actions
of our bleeding thoughts

Waiting for the time
that you will accept
what I can not change
hoping that you will
not change either.

A smile a day keeps the world in smile's.

We cannot change someone else....only ourselves....then again...why change if it would take away the good? Pondering here. Good write. Chris

Thanks, Chris
Exactly, one should not have to change because someone else wants them to.  If a change is made it should be for oneself. And if one changes maybe the out come would be what the other one wanted changed for the better.
