Relatively speaking,
I guess I am in love.
It's not like I expected,
What I was dreaming of...

I'm not your knight in armor-
Nor dreamy paramour.
But I will take care of you,
That's what a lover's for.

I know I am not handsome,
Nor wealthy, I confess.
I haven't much to offer,
But I swear I'll do my best.

I may not be romantic,
It's true I'm lacking style.
But relatively speaking-
I've loved you quite awhile.

I guess it's disappointing,
When you've set your sights so high
To find that you must settle
For an ordinary guy...

I have no skill, nor talent-
When it comes to pitching woo,
But relatively speaking, dear,
I am in love with you.

I love your poetry! This is so fantastic, but really, you shouldn't sell yourself short. She is lucky to have you loving her

Seems you have a fine talent right here. And a gentleman you are likely to be. I'd say she is lucky Gunslinger, very lucky.
