Swimming Pool

In the pool of blue
Floating flying
Across the water
Drifting
In and out
of dreams
Remembering
Childhood that
I once had

The sunlight dancing
And changing
All the colours
From blue
To greeney blue

Ripples are small
And light
How I remember
When I was small

Playing laughing
Splashing
In the water
Of this pool of blue

I open my eyes
And then I realised
That childhood
Lives forever
Within us all

Krissy

And while thy willing soul transpiers
at every pore with instant fires

Krissy, I remember days like this. What fun they were. And you are right they all live in us forever.

I liked this. Childhood has left me forever, I think. Friggin responsibility wont let it come back and visit.

Krissy,
this has such a serene sense of tranquillity, which is surprising since it was nothing akin to the poets meets, which was bedlam...
