Symbiosis

I’m riding a train to nowhere.
Part paid but surely not full fare
It’s brought me to a bank of shrouds
With interest rates above the clouds

A force that sends me to and fro
A course that I don’t really know
It bends and sends me sweep of hand
Deep within desires land

And there I have a pick and choose
It’s more or less I win or lose
But never the less I am there
And subject to a source of dare.

I play the game as well I can
There’s not and never was a plan
And little left but weary light
To bright the shadows of my night

Night has over powered me for
I only see periphery.

I knew I should have waited until my coffee was done before I poked my nose into this'n.

Okay, my first has only to do with the title--a word I've loved since a shrink told me once that me and the husband have a symbiotic relationship. *cocking my head sideways as I read the definition* Yep, grin, I think BOTH of the following apply, perhaps the first gives me more wicked satisfaction, though.

sym·bi·o·sis   Pronunciation Key  (smb-ss, -b-)
n. pl. sym·bi·o·ses (-sz)
1. Biology. A close, prolonged association between two or more different organisms of different species that may, but does not necessarily, benefit each member.

2.A relationship of mutual benefit or dependence.

Come to think of it, the whole poem pretty much sums it up. (I know, I know, I interpret too personally, but you DO happen to be seymour the mystic!) Now...ah, coffee's ready! Love to ya, sy.

Serenity,
With a little liberty it can be applied to the human personality.
Correct when you say. "A close, prolonged association between two or more different organisms of different species that may, but does not necessarily, benefit each member."
One is what you want and the other is what you get. LOL Sy

Love the morning read Sy!
I'm not going to try to analize it..just enjoy.
It's far too early in the day for that.

You can twist my symbols all the time...
err, wait...

is that what I meant?

Ah Sy, will you take a smile and a wink?

The down, the up,
the fast enough
the place we stride
the kiss goodbye

all the songs we sing off key
can look again see harmony
so in a sense can we relate
the fence without the garden gate

Thanks Sy
for your eye!
