A Rainbows End I sat at the end of a rainbow Looking for each treasures treasure Rubbing lamps and wishing pleasure Until the wind began to blow When I stopped to looked around I saw the trees in shadows dance The leaves were twisting in a prance Yet I could not hear a sound. It’s when the leaves began to fall They whirled and spun into the sky And fluttered like a butterfly And as they did I heard a call A velvet voice that steered a broom Graced my ears and cleared the haze And there my mind left rainbows gaze As sunlight chased the weave of loom I would have liked a clearings tend For now I’ve lost the meanings end. |

You may be in a quandary about the meaning but the colorful picture produced from your words isn't lost on me. Simply lovely, Sey. When you think you have heard it all, |

Sy ~~ this was so beautiful. Not to worry if you got lost ~~ I loved all the words, especially these: '... I sat at the end of a rainbow Looking for each treasures treasure Rubbing lamps and wishing pleasure Until the wind began to blow ...' Sometimes we need to just ramble along and let the wind take us wherever... Hugs, Marti |

What? Sy? What are you doing with Sun's broom? Ya went and dun it again, didn't ya? Yet another of your classic poems, with the rhyme and meter to add to the touch... |
