I see through veil of thought,
a window to remembrance

Visions offered there in mind
memories of another time.
Played in the now,
yet out of sync.
I ponder not
too hard to think.

My eyes did wish
for blindness then!
Why must I see?
I fear the when!

But upon a moment of repose
a thought or two to come to know.

These illusionary vapors
just connected thoughts in time.

Not flesh and blood, mere thought they are
I'll not let them put upon.

I rally strength in weakness.
A vision, simply that
I'll forget, I must forget
relieve my heart at last.

I've time to make more dreams
this is what I'll seek.

Yes, time
just give me time....
