Universe Needs Healing Newspaper headlines Murder and shootings Vandalism everywhere Shops , home lootings The world now crazy Humanity gone mad Newspapers and T.V Portraying stories sad The media’s daily fill Hi-jacks , road rages Suicides and murder Jails open more cages Hostages at gunpoint The more jails we fill What happened world People prowl and kill Homeless in the gutter Lonely and despairing Where are the families Are humans still caring Each could play a part In harmony and feeling A world needs repairing Universe needs healing Hope ©2002 |

I can read this in your eyes ... in your pic. How very true. All we seem to be doing is opening jails around the world and the real crims never set foot inside.  I guess one becomes content with one’s poetry when one opens the book ten years hence and does NOT exclaim, “Did I really write this?” |

Hope, it's rapidly reaching the point were I don't want to watch TV, listen to the radio or read the daily newspaper. Prayers are definitely in big time order to save us. Thanks for sharing this...Hugs, Marti |

I couldn't agree with you more! In fact, I periodically go on "News fasts" because I get so overwraught by all the violence, devastation, and evil. I gave up watching the news before going to bed---not the kinda stuff of which dreams are made! Currently, I'm just reading the weekend newspaper so I'm not totally ignorant of what's going on in the world. As a healer, I do a lot of praying and energy work to help heal the planet. This is a very important piece of writing and you did it extremely well. Kudos to you! EA |

This is true...but what it really needs is a good "cleaning"....clean out the low morals, the terrorist groups, the grime and corruption, the trash-extreme violence and porn that has now become the "norm" on TV......when standards in morality go down hill...the standards of life follow...when killing becomes so "every-day"...blood and guts and sex and making heroes out of slime-balls "sells" well....we know the universe is in a "need" for healing and cleansing...good write... |

 (big hugggsssss) Oh Hope, this is so saddening, I too hate watching the news now when the government has been lying to us all and the media only tells everyone what they want them to hear and treating the gist like skim milk! (sad sigh) This is powerfully expressed, sweet friend, I agree with you 100%, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Hope, thank you for sharing!
