The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-09-24 06:28 AM

In solitude I now reside
no subtle song escapes my thoughts
its seems my muse insists to hide
although I beg it comes to naught.

I write this just to say hello
from one so uninspired now
I miss you all, please friends, don't go
I will be back I know, somehow.

Ah yes, I know this feeling Sandra. I haven’t been able to write for months…nothing unusual for me. I can go years in between bouts of writing. Good to see you again. I hope all is well. (quick note to check spelling on line two though)

Dear Sandra, at least you have writen something, I have found little time over the past month or so to even sit at the computer.

Although you sit without your muse
Your gift inside you’ll never lose
It may have gone just for a rest
To come back strong and be it’s best

So worry not that now you sit
While trying just to make words fit
Your time of joy will soon return
And from your heart, again we’ll learn

Chin up and keep smiling, nice to see that you have put something down.

Have a great week.

Sincerely
Rick

Dearest Sandra - oh, lady of beautiful words, take heart....and take a deep breath...then listen to some favourite music and ......remember. hugs, Chris

Give yr muse some candy and a vacation. She'll appreciate this.

You might consider this verse humble, but I really enjoyed it, Sandra.

Glad to see you in these parts again.

C'mon, baby, c'mon darling,
Let me steal this moment from you now.
C'mon, angel, c'mon, c'mon, darling,
Let's exchange the experience.

Seems you've left your foot in the door. And fickle muse? A nap, perhaps.

Well it looks like you are already on your way back!
Fire her and hire I new one. I did!
My muse has been missing in action for several months now.
My new hired muse helped me post today for the first time in months!
Not sure yet though if I'll keep her.
Hope you find her or a replace ment soon.

The title sums up the past month or so for me, I can relate to these words. I am on repost mode myself. DOn't worry inspiration will come, until then why not repost some of your favourites so that newcomers have a chance to read your verse.

Hush now, and listen to the stars, for I find that they always have much to say.

Thank you.
