          “A Routine Morning”

An Ashanti drumknock at the door,
     dust-winged pigeons lift
     flapping applause as the visitors enter;
relentless rhythms announces the breakfast lottery winners
Cappuccino boils aroma into obscure corners
Future stomach oatmeal cement bubbles on iron
Gather the robe, answer the call
Let in the cat, let out the urchins
Bring in the paper, let out a sigh
Rustling paper, and unshaven legs rub nubs
     Piercing squeak of heavy-tonned brakes
     retractable door louvers open
     and let in the Son.
     four-wheeled traveling pews
     on a predestined road
obliged to follow the slimmest rays of hope
     to the source
     where the Son always shines.

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this is indeed a typical ordinary morning but you make it sound so vivid and impressionistic with your words, I LOVE IT!!! (big hugggssssss) As much as a commute like this can be such a bore every day, the sunshine of His smile that dawns upon us will always be each days reward, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jeff, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Jeff...this was a 'routine' morning?
I could hardly keep up with you...
was still sipping my coffee as you ran around.
Excellent write...enjoyed this change of pace much.
