My last laughs are left unsaid
tossed to a wind that doesn’t blow
your direction. Frolicking in oblique
places with new eyes that peruse me
with care for my every aspect.
With glamour she makes
every beautiful flower beg for the
grace of her smile, more vivid than
the sun’s light at daybreak. To which,
yes, the days are thus shortened for
you’ve lengthened my nocturnal hours;
consequence of your swallow.
Being created like a timeless old lady’s
knit, we intertwine a fabric built on
trust of similarities. Resulting in a
design of symmetrical love which all
came to be, to my surprise.

You helped loosen my grip, finger
by finger on a yesterday that had
no tomorrow. With unequaled
patience a give and take you, now is
evident. Hid within your lips
the taste of ecstasy which you
three times confirm true. The
same wind I laugh into, you
breathe in and purify upon exhale.
Tis’ why the way the ocean waves of
you puzzle me, as you quietly
wash-up my shores. Your waters
recede, you take me with you into a
deep blue state now crystal clear.
Yet, all what is and what was, are
indeed to my surprise.
