This shop is closed.
"Unexpected" some whispered
"Not surprised" said others
"Again?" groaned some
I simply pull the shades
& Welcome the silence...

Robin, I know what you mean.
Sometimes you want to shut things out
and just have a good sulk.

Loved this.

This reminded me of how I am when I write.  My shop is also closed, the house quiet.

Oh, do I ever know what you're talking about! Whenever I needed time out I'd put  a sign on my bedroom door, "DO NOT DISTURB!!!Enter At Your Own Risk!!!". My family was actually amused by it, but they knew it was wise for them to give me my space and quiet time on those occasions! hehe Thankfully, as the years go by, I find that I am needing   "Time Out" less often.

You wrote a little gem! So many of your readers will identify with what you are saying. I know I sure did!

Take Care
Linda

(smiles) Yay!!! Oh Tiersdin, I too love serenity and to relax and write and dream of my sweetheart Joanna is what makes me happiest and most comfortable! (kiss on cheek) This is delightful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tiersdin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
