The Unusual Fairy-Tale Day

"Oh, woe is me," the princess cried,
"This dragon must be slain!
It's not that I am unable, it's just,
This knight keeps getting in the way!"

The princess strode forwards, sword in hand,
The blade glinting silver in the light.
Cowering between her and the dragon, was,
And the so called 'brave' knight.

"Stay away from the terrible lizard!" The knight exclaimed,
"For he will roast you quick!
I wish that I could save you, m'lady,
But I am scared out of my wits!"

My sympathies to the dragon, for,
He never wanted any trouble!
He didn't wish to roast any princesses, why,
All he wanted was to escape on the double!

"Please, I'm innocent!" The dragon sobbed,
"All I wanted was a nice piece of fruit!
I don't even eat princesses, why,
I'm a vegetarian to boot!"

The princess withdrew her might blade,
And cuffed the cowering knight on the head.
"And here I was believing you, sir,
When you said this dragon was bad!"

And so the princess, knight and dragon,
All continued on their ways.
And that was the end of the
Unusual fairy-tale day!

A little fun in math class. And plz, forgive me all for not answering to many posts. I would, honestly, but I have very limited computer time! I'll try harder to answer more, I swear.

What a fun and magical and totally delightful piece of writing. Oh, I do hope you write more pieces like this. I loved it!

Lol, I swear, math class is my best writing time. Then socials. French is when I do my best anime doodles, and science second for that. My most creative times are in class.......strange.
