Intimate Words ( to all who have touched a part of me with what you share) |

It is the words That like a silk screen backlit Show me the outline of you As you undress the thoughts and feelings Taking lacey layer off here, To reveal a swell of breast That beats with heart bleed Silky intimate there Showing glimpse of passion That longs for touch Until the shadow you reveal Is naked But without the warmth of color And the comfort of invitation As it is grey and only an image Perhaps it is voyeurism That brings us all to peek into The private places Through cracks in doors partially opened By the need for us to breathe. Breathe without being smothered In the stifling air of our own Exhalations accumulating to toxic measure In the closed chambers of our shells But it is the words I embrace in my heart With a longing to step behind the screen And touch you. |

...and "touch" me, you do, with your "words" ~ may all the love that you radiate, be reflected back to you, dear Cpat! ~ EA |

Ron We do glimpse behind the screen, into the heart. It is an intimate place, and at times so honest it hurts and so beautiful it aches. Thank you for sharing that part of you. Enjoyed this! |

Perhaps it is the safe place, within your mind, that lends your poetry that magic touch... that gives us so much... |

"Breathe without being smothered In the stifling air of our own Exhalations accumulating to toxic measure In the closed chambers of our shells But it is the words I embrace in my heart With a longing to step behind the screen And touch you." (big hugggssssss) Oh Ron, your words are an inspiration to us all and though we may not actually see each other behind the screen, we can feel the spirit of friendship, feel behind the screen and your voice is special to us all! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! and touch us you have, with your thoughts into words, giving us feelings that we then put into our words. A poet's gift is constant, and reciprocated, and it is an honour to share with you!! The music is playing..it's your turn to dance! |

I believe this is the finest work you have ever submitted It is delicately refined and elegantly shared from the heart. Bravo! |

"But it is the words I embrace in my heart With a longing to step behind the screen And touch you." And therein lies the rub... tsk. tsk. tsk. Shouldn't do this to me in the middle of the day. It just ain't right, I tell ya. sigh. What you just said.... myomy... This place is sometimes maddening in its intimacy, without the flesh...I'd better stop--before I start! |

Ron, we all 'breathe' and in doing so we touch the very hearts and souls of one another. This is a magnificent piece of writing and I savor your words and thoughts. Hugs, Marti Every now and then take a good look at something not made |

CPatHair~ This is such a lovely tribute to the power of a poet's words to inspire us~ 'It is the words That like a silk screen backlit Show me the outline of you As you undress the thoughts and feelings' That's simply wordfully put ~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
