My eyes full of tears,
And heart filled with deep sorrow,
Said bye to my peers.

When you say goodbye
The words engraved in your heart
Are forget me not.

The mouth utters goodbye
While the heart murmurs
Your memory fades not.

Partings are hard, no gettin' around it. I hope you don't meant you're leaving here, I think this is the first of your poems I've read.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

i hate goodbyes. especially when its someone you really care for and you know your not gonna see them for a long time

(big hugggssssss) This is so sadly touching, sweet friend, goodbye to me is the saddest word in the dictionary and I would never want to think of it! (sigh) This is powerfully aching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!
