*The Gift* Almost three years ago, I was given the best gift ever. Someone who is very close to me. I wanted to show my appreciation ** I was given the gift In days past The gift of friendship, A love meant to last A soulmate that I found stumbled across one day Cherished in all I lived One to always stay A guardian was granted One from up above Warm hearts were united I became lost in his love Words cannot express He never left my side I Ran to him with tears He opened arms wide Kept each other warm On nights that seemed too cold Helped each other through the pain He was there for me to hold Greatful for this gift I received I shall never let him go The day how has finally come For me to let him know. I love you Kev  |
