As I lay here thoughts run and play, till one day a dream comes my way. It sits and waits for imagination to start, For it to begin it must come from the heart. Tears are the medicine while laughter is the recipe, Come and cry, soon you will see. A spark awakes to show the way, while children dream away. With every sigh comes a mystery within, look deep to see, Boys become men. Giggles bring songs to my dreams, For in every fantasy seems to be a cloud of horses and knights Overhead dragons are a flight. Only a kiss of a heart and a tickel of a feather Will bring dreams together. I love to see dogs smiling to see kids chasing their tails, To see adventure raise its sails. Don't forget the dreams They are there to show comfort to show love, I praise the Lord for giving us dreams from above. As I lay here thoughts run and play, Tonight dreams will come my way. Come and Dream!!! |
